DIY Stickers!!

Lately, I've been seeing people making stickers using packing tape...what a clever idea! I thought I'd give it a try using a bunch of our mini wood stamps. I must say they were very fun to make and quite addictive as you get going. Here's a few how-to's you'll need to get started making your own bunch of stickers:

Start by cutting a sheet of parchment paper. Next, stick a piece of packing tape (sticky side down) on to the parchment paper. Stamp, color and cut your images and lay them on the tape. Get another piece of packing tape (also sticky side down) and lay that over the images and the first piece of packing tape. Rub your fingernail over the image and around the edges of the image making sure the image is completely sandwiched between the 2 strips of tape. Then simply cut around each image through all 3 layers (parchment paper and 2 strips of packing tape), leaving a white border around each. When you're ready to use the sticker, just remove the parchment paper backing :)

Wouldn't that make a sweet little gift for someone? I thought so too. Of course, you'll need something to give it in:

Take a look at the "Projects and Patterns" section to get a pattern to make these boxes.
